Little bit of fixture analysis

Chelsea – 73 points
April 19 – vs Sunderland (Home)
  • Chelsea already showed their hubris against bottomfeeders last month in their shit performance away to Palace, and Sunderland DESPERATELY need points.
  • However, they'll hopefully have learned from their mistake and will go into the game at Anfield still 2 points off Liverpool.
  • I'm gonna go with a comfortable Chelsea win here, 2-0.

April 22 – vs Atlético (Away)
  • The way this game goes will decide the rest of their season. If they lose away they'll need to do something in the return leg (duh).
  • I predict a score draw, 1-1.

April 27 – vs Liverpool (Away)
  • This game. Mourinho is superior to Rodgers, but their squads are just about equal, slightly edging in Chelsea's favor. However, Liverpool will have the edge of an extra 2 days' rest and tactical focus, with no other games to worry about. I expect a repeat of last year. 2-2.

April 30 – vs Atlético (Home)
  • After losing to Liverpool, Mourinho will throw all of his focus into this. 1-0. Courtois will be amazing.

May 4 – vs Norwich (Home)
  • See: Liverpool-Norwich. 3-0

May 11 – vs Cardiff (Away)
  • Cardiff are going into this either needing a win or already being out. Honestly, I think they'll go into this uncertain, but Chelsea will beat them anyway. Sorry Ole. 2-1.

Liverpool – 75 points
April 20 – vs Norwich (Away)
  • This game's a cake-walk, Norwich fucking suck (and they're going down, mark my words). 4-0, and another barrage of shameless pandering posts from goal.com, 101greatgoals, and the rest of the "neutrals" who think Gerrard's owed something and that Suarez won't try to fuck off to Madrid this summer. Fuck off.

April 27 – vs Chelsea (Home) 2-2
May 5 – vs Crystal Palace (Away)
  • The proverbial banana peel. Palace might nick this. 0-1.
May 11 – vs Newcastle (Home)

  • Newcastle don't give a shit, no reason to risk injury for all of their World Cup hopefuls. 3-0

Chelsea 83 points
Liverpool 82 points

According to my prediction, this one is gonna go down to the final whistle just like the City-United race of 2 years ago... Should be fun.

Predictions are just that though; speculation. So sit back and enjoy.
